Nicky Ladanowski is an acclaimed English actress and writer whose versatility and effortless mastery of comedy and drama have earned her widespread recognition. Classically trained at London’s prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Nicky has built a dynamic and enduring career across television, theatre, film, radio and voiceovers.

Her professional stage debut at The Royal National Theatre in Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman and at The Royal Shakespeare Company in Coriolanus brought her to the attention of the BBC and led to her first television role in the mystery crime drama Jonathan Creek. What followed was an extensive range of TV and Film work, including numerous BBC comedies such as People Like Us, Paradise Heights, The Eustace Brothers, Grease Monkeys and Extras, as well as live studio audience sitcoms including My Family, According to Bex, and sketch show Little Miss Jocelyn. She also appeared in Sky’s comedy-drama Harry on the Boat.

Nicky’s dramatic credits include Law and Order: UK, Dream Team for Sky, BBC medical dramas Casualty, Holby City and Doctors and long-running serial dramas such as Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, Brookside, The Bill and Waterloo Road. Her film roles include Bella in the thriller Appetite, Sylvia in the period drama These Foolish Things, and Jenny in Channel 4’s Micah.

Her additional theatre work includes Amelia Sedley in William Makepeace Thackeray’s Vanity Fair at the Chester Gateway Theatre and appearing in Cherished Disappointments in Love at The Soho Theatre. Nicky also adds BBC Radio 4 play Needles and Pinsa to her long list of credits as well as the comedic series of chocolate commercial campaigns for Bendicks Mingles and Bendicks Gorgeous.
